OUR MISSION

The DJH Express National Training Academy, a minority-owned 501c3 tax-exempt organization founded in 2020, is dedicated to empowering formerly incarcerated individuals, veterans, and young adults aged 18 and older. Our core mission is to deliver comprehensive job skills and training within the transportation sector, fostering successful reintegration into society following incarceration or deployment. Guided by seasoned industry professionals, we provide rigorous training and dedicated support to equip individuals with the necessary tools for sustainable career advancement. Additionally, we extend our services to adults aged 18 and older, offering them opportunities for growth and success in the transportation industry.

Our Programs

CDL Class A Training

Our CDL Class A Training Program at the DJH Express National Training Academy provides focused instruction and hands-on training to prepare individuals for success in obtaining their Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A. Led by experienced instructors, our program ensures participants gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the transportation industry.

Job Placement

At the DJH Express National Training Academy, we are committed to supporting our graduates in securing employment opportunities in the transportation industry. Through our extensive network of industry partners and dedicated career placement services, we connect qualified candidates with reputable employers. Our goal is to match individuals with positions that align with their skills, preferences, and career goals, ensuring a successful transition into the workforce.

Warehouse Training

Our warehouse training program at DJH Express equips individuals with essential skills for success in warehouse operations. Through hands-on experience and expert instruction, participants learn inventory management, safety protocols, and logistical best practices, preparing them for rewarding careers in logistics.

Pathway Discovery

Our Pathway Discovery program at DJH Express helps individuals explore career options in transportation, including last mile delivery, dispatching, and over-the-road driving. Through tailored assessments, participants gain insights to make informed decisions about their career path.

Apprenticeship Programs

At DJH Express, our apprenticeship program provides hands-on training and mentorship for individuals entering the transportation industry. Participants gain practical skills and industry knowledge while earning a wage, preparing them for roles such as truck driving and logistics management.

We have also partnered with Interplay/SKILLMILL to provide online training for our construction and electrical Pre-apprenticeship programs. Interplay is a national registered apprenticeship sponsor that will provide the online curriculum platform for the Related Training Instruction for the construction and other related industries. Interplay Learning has established itself as a leader in online and virtual reality (VR) training for the skilled trades. Their innovative approach to training leverages immersive, simulation-based learning to rapidly equip individuals with the necessary skills for careers in fields such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and solar energy. This method of training has proven to be highly effective in closing the skills gap and making job-ready professionals in a fraction of the time required by traditional training methods.

Youth

DJH Express's career path program empowers youth to explore transportation, warehousing, and construction industries. Through partnerships with leading employers, participants gain insights and hands-on experience to chart their career paths with confidence and clarity.
